RJ's 6 Week BETTER YOU HOLIDAY CHALLENGE

 

HERE'S WHAT YOU RECEIVE:

 

1. MEASURED PROGRESS

 - Heart Rate Monitor

Progress will be done with weekly on site private weigh in. (Tracking weight and BMI) Measurements during week 1 and week 6.  **Optional private progress photos** .

2. BASIC HEALTH COACHING

  • Weekly intro message (video) to food and exercise skills of the week posted to coaching wall

  • ​Nutrition Accountability Coaching 

  • ​ Exercise Accountability Coaching 

  • ​Weekly messages about measuring progress behaviors

  • ​Other motivational and informational messages

  • ​Schedule up to 2 live 15-minute appointments via virtual meeting room: Initial session in weeks 1-3 and follow up session in weeks 4-6

3.  EXERCISE COACHING

  • Accumulate 150 minutes a week in your personal zone - If a need for a different target, identify in first coaching appointment and set individual target

  • ​Use heart rate monitor and CorSync app to validate your exercise

  • ​Choose any activities you like to do. Do them in a way that gets you in your zone 

  • ​Build exercise skills by viewing and using the weekly exercise resources

4.  NUTRITION

  • Eating Plan targeting making good choices 80+% of the time through either self guidance using a Clean Eating List or a specific meal plan, depending on preference of the individual. Use the recipes and other tools provided to be successful.

  • ​Track 3+ meals a day with the CorSync app 

  • ​Target 80% of your food choices as those you can give a thumbs up (good choice)

  • ​Build weekly food skills by reading and using the weekly nutrition resources

5.  FREE DANSATION CLASSES = 6 Weeks

During the 6 weeks you have the option to attend free of charge DANSATION - Dance Fitness Classes at any of the locations.  This class is held in Madisonville on Tues at 6:30pm  (Madisonville Rec Center) and Saturdays at 9:30am (Corryville Rec Center) . This is a fun way to add something different to your workout routines and really get that heart pumping!
